Best beaches on Ko Samui:

● CHAWENG: Located on the east coast of Ko Samui, Cha Weng is the island’s most beautiful and remote beach. It’s a stunning bay stretching out 6km, complete with soft sand and crystal clear waters. By day, Chaweng is a water sports center, while as the evening falls it has a vibrant nightlife with many clubs for endless nights of dancing.

● LAMAI: Also located on the east coast, south of Chaweng, Lamai is a favorite destination for surfers. Behind the beach lie many thermal baths where guests can enjoy a herbal sauna, a relaxing Thai massage or mud masks and baths.

● MAENAM, BOPHUT AND BANG RAK: Lying along the north coast of the island, these beaches are ideal for those seeking a secluded sanctuary. Bang Rak is often referred to as the “Big Buddha Beach,” owing to the huge statue of the Buddha at its eastern end. It’s a spiritual sight to gaze at the sun setting behind the magnificent monument.

● EASTERN AND WEST COAST BEACHES: Even more isolated from the north coast, the beaches located on the south and west of the island are secluded gems.
